Psssst... INS, Look Over There!
If the folks at INS were having trouble locating the illegal aliens around the country, perhaps they could take a look at Chicago... TODAY. Thousands of illegals are marching to protest HR 4437, The Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005.
I just love the irony in a bunch of illegals demanding equal rights under the law. How about you go home and show us you give a real rat's ass about our laws before illegally sneaking over here and demanding rights thereunder. Start with this one:
Governor Blagojevich, Senator Dick Durbin, and Congressman Luis Gutierrez are expected to attend and help these folks advocate breaking the law. Of course, it's no surprise why Democrats would want to help lawbreakers remain in the U.S.8 USC � 1325: Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.
